I am working on quite a few commissions and concepts at the moment. But I thought I would share a few of the really interesting ones here with you today before I start my work. (I am sorry for the lack of posts lately my internet provider is giving me some trouble.)
The Percy Jackson series.
This is a particularly hard challenge as I have not read the books. But I was told a few things about some of the characters, and I have a good grasp on their parents. Wikipedia was not very helpful on the characters personalities and what they like, sadly, but I think I have a working concept to start with. So this is exciting.
An obsession of mine. (Sir Doyle owns me.)
This is really fun, I have several concepts and pieces I am working on currently for this series. They include pieces you can wear during cosplay, out on the town, or as that favorite fan piece. I am very excited about these pieces.
I am currently working on just concepts for this series. It is based in a futuristic time on another planet so this is a fun yet difficult challenge. But I am excited about it!
This is a character my fiance is in love with, so I will be making a piece revolving around this series very soon.
My Little Pony ~ FiM
I have so many concepts and already finished pieces for this series, it’s not even funny. Rarity and Pinkie Pie are finished, and I will be starting on Fluttershy next.
Sailor Moon (Prom Addition)
I have an overall concept of where I am going with this and I love it thus far. Sailor Moon is one of my favorite things in the whole world. I can’t wait to post photos for you all!
Well these are my current projects! I hope you look forward to seeing them as I post them! Have a beautiful day everyone!
Heya I'm Andrea. You know Jessi's friend, we've met before but anywho, your jewelry is amazing! I'm tempted to but all of it, but I read you do themed jewelry and I was wondering what your rules are on that? Like for requests?
Yeah! I remember you! Hey hun!
Thank you very much, your very sweet!
Yes, I do make themed jewelry. Rules? Well if you need it my a certain time I would need the date because there are things like availability of materials and shipping, ect.
But other then that I don’t think I have rules… If you send me a picture of what you want, or give me a character you have in mind I can work with you on what kind of materials you want and we can go from there! :)
One of the things I love doing is making jewelry inspired by things that are interesting and at times are nerdy. (All my love goes to Sherlock.)
Things you can wear to work, or out to dinner without having a Tardis hanging from your neck (NOT that there is anything wrong with that!). I just want to provide an outlet for your fandom that is both fashionable, and inspired.
So! Here is a list of things I am inspired to make jewelry for. What are some of the things you'd like to see jewelry for?
Slytherin (My Hogwarts house)
Big Bang Theory
Lord of the Rings
My little Pony
Ciel Phantomhive (Let's face it, if he were a girl, there would be some killer jewelry)
Little Black dress~Add those pearls, and a cute clutch purse and you are ready for a glorious night out! The simplicity of the black dress, combined with a simple heel makes the fashion of the pearls and the clutch purse stand out. So really bring those pearls forward!
Pearls can be used to bring Class, and vitality to a wide range of outfits! They are a classic that is a must have for any wardrobe! And the aren’t just for church anymore! Mix them into your everyday outfits and see just how versatile these little water jewels can be!
Well, simply put, a statement piece is something that starts a conversation, makes a bold comment about you!
Usually it’s something wild and fun, or big and bold. Unusual or bright colors are common in statement pieces as well.
( source unknown )
"When should I wear a statement piece?"
The best time to wear a statement piece is when your ensemble (outfit) needs that extra push! Or Flash of color. Statement pieces can be worn to add something more to to soft, light, or muted colors. Or to punk out an outfit!
Statement pieces, due to their loud colors, patterns, shapes, and size should not be used with an all ready bold ensemble because they may clash or be too much of a look. Be sure you wear simple colors, or black with statement pieces.
You should always be fun with it! Mix it up. Pick random colors from the color wheel and try to come up with something~!
I’d love to see how YOU mix it up with your Statement Pieces!
(If there is a question, or Topic you’d like me to write about just send it to me in the Ask Me Anything box! I’d love to hear your questions!)
